In trying to find out when it was released, I found a wikipedia article that does a pretty good job of describing it. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Girl_Who_Leapt_Through_Time ) As noted, it's basically about a high-school girl who somehow develops the power to leap backwards through time, allowing her to redo past actions. At first she uses it to back and eat pudding (at least, a pudding her sister ate before her), sing karaoke, ace tests, and so on. But as the movie goes along she starts seeing the adverse consequences to some of these actions.
