All's ok here. I'm sticking with the job for now, though there is another one that I'm considering switching to. Better pay, better hours, benefits, closer to home... it's a desk job (basically as secretary for my church), so no running around really..... but I feel like I'd be giving up my connection, my "in" into the movie business if I ( Read more... )

Hey, I went to the same granola, hippie college and had the same crazy-ass roommates as you did (as I fondly reflect on the destroying of the awful fuzzy pillow), and here I sit, doing public relations for the Japanese Consulate. Don't let what's on your degree hold you back. In my experience, I've found that the fact you *have* a degree is what makes a difference, not which school you went to or what you majored in. It shows you can commit to something for the long haul.

"Kermitflail"?? OMG, that's too perfect!!

I read in the paper this morning PBS is putting out a box set of DVDs of "Old School" Sesame Street! They're starting with the late 60's through early 70's, but you can bet I'm going to own the mid-80's set!! I want to see "C is for Cookie" and "I Don't Want to Live on the Moon" again!

Haha true true... just not sure if that's enough for these movie types.

And yes! I scared the people around me I think it was such a flail!
