More on Islam, but not about the mosque

It was pointed out to me that some of my comments on Islam, muslims, and the whole mosque thing appear to be coming out of left field. For the very few of you I've gotten to talk to in person about this stuff, what I'm saying all makes sense. For those I haven't seen in a while though it is kinda like jumping into the tail end of a conversation,.

The funny thing is, that the first command given to the Prophet Mohammed was "Read"

He also freed prisoners of war after they taught a certain number of women and children to read.

A lot of what goes on today is tribal customs, and has nothing to do with the religion.
