Penny gets to come home today!!! She has regained all her strength and is doing just fine without her Gall Bladder. They took her staples and stitches out today too!

Once they opened her up they discovered that her Gall Bladder had not yet ruptured but was about to. This is good news because they were able to removed her Gall Bladder without any bile getting into her surrounding areas. So no infection to worry about there. Now she is going to be staying there until at least Wednesday of this week. She is going ( Read more... )

Our beloved Jack Russell Terrier Penny is having surgery for a Ruptured Gall Bladder. The Vet hospital gives her a 50/50 chance if there is not a lot of infection spread. Please pray for Penny.

I just got the news that the mass the Biopsy was done on is Benign! So no cancer!!!! If it doesn't stop hurting I have the option to go ahead and get the mass removed. But that is something to deal with later!

Yesterday I had my Biopsy done. As you might expect the shots given to numb the area hurt like hell. Actually it was worth it because the Biopsy itself was painless. I spent the rest of yesterday sleeping and taking it easy. Today I am still quite sore and not able to go to work. However later today I can finally take Ibuprofin again. Yay for ( Read more... )

For those of you who do not know I have been having pains in my chest. Today I went to the doctor and to my surprise the problem was not my heart, I have some kind of strange mass in the left side of my chest. After having my first (and hopefully last) Mammogram and Ultrasound they found something and soon I have to go and have it biopsied. This ( Read more... )

Well today is my job's company picnic. We are all meeting at Centennial Olympic Park for lunch and then we are going to the Georgia Aquarium. I can't wait to see all the cool fish and Penguins! Today April 01, 2007 marks the one year Wedding Anniversary of James and Jennifer Roose. And a great Anniversary it has been too!

Last Thursday 03/01/2007 my wife was taken to the Emergency Room because she had a seizure that lasted over 10 minutes at the school she teaches at. Friday night she started throwing up and having diahrea. By Saturday morning she was so deydrated she had to be taken by amublance back to the hospital. She is still there now.
