Because I think I've done it. This weekend was the Kansas City BookCrossing Unconvention, and it was amazing. I was uber stressed going into it, and was afraid that I wouldn't be able to enjoy it, but oh, did I! Wonderful friends, old and new, and lots of books. Would handmade cards to sell be any help? I have 36 cards (of assorted types - birthday, get well, thank you, baby cards, etc) that I can let you auction off, in whatever amounts you think might do the most good (either six lots of six cards & envelopes, or three lots of a dozen cards with envelopes, or by single card & envelope). I can email you photos of them.

I have no idea what people might pay for them. If you think it'll help, let me know.
