To do list:

- wait for call from volunteer people
- wait for calls from intercambio people (2 calls)
- wait for an email about other intercambio people

- buy a new book, as I'm at the end of my current one
- see Doubt in the English-with-Spanish-subtitles theater ( Read more... )

- wait until Feb 20 when The Sims 3 comes out and be obsessive with Marta
!!
But I thought it was being released in June?

- stop staring at the 35-year-old Swedish guy in my grammar class
..No comment. XD

- decide, once and for all, whether or not I want to pick up the Spanish accent
:O

I love how everything on your list is attainable in the short term... except for visiting Stockholm. XD

Ugh. Justice systems are messed up everywhere. But 10-15 years for a child molester? That's ridiculous.

Maybe it's coming out sooner in Spain?

What can I say? :P

The judges here are actually on strike right now for exactly that reason. They want to change the "Codigo Penal".

If it is, I want to go to Spain right now in order to get it... sigh.

Whoa, the judges are on strike? You don't hear about that very often. But I do hope something gets done to change the penal code.

Do you want me to tell you all about it when my host sister gets it, or would you rather be surprised? It might be less painful if you don't know what you're missing.

I know, right? Hispanics in general (meaning Chileans and Spaniards--hello, exaggeration) seem to go on strike more often and in more varied positions in the workplace. For instance, people in customs went on strike as I was crossing the border between Argentina and Chile.
