I'm going to get my wisdom teeth extracted tomorrow. Yikes. I'm about to head off to the store to buy an entire freezer's worth of ice cream now, and in the morning I get to take sedatives until I go off to La-La-Land. This should prove to be exciting. Well, for my mom, maybe, 'cause (hopefully) I'll be really mellow during the whole procedure. Oh

Best of luck to you. Wisdom teeth make me cringe... and I don't even have mine yet! :O

That possible mess-up sounds terrifying, but I'm sure the chances of it happening are slim. Right?... Right? Do you know how long your mouth will be sore, approximately?

Hooray for contacts! You will never be the same. (Well, I don't know about that, but hey.) I remember the first time I put them on I was amazed that I was without my glasses and able to see. Now I hardly wear my glasses at all except when at home. Amazing how they go from necessary item to expendable prop... as long as you take good care of the contacts, of course.

Well, so far my mouth isn't sore at all. Yay pain-killers. And the numbness is FINALLY wearing off. I was talking like I had a real fat lip all day, saying things like "mouf" instead of "mouth". But at least it's not permanent! Woohoo.

Well, I'm going to get disposable contacts. That's what my mom recommends. Not to say that I won't take care of 'em, though. I surely will.
