Good! More of the world should do that, I think. We'd be, if not happier, then at least a little more peaceful.
You're probably right. But still, would you want to give permission to people to read your mind, assuming the technology gets advanced to the point that they can actually read whole thoughts in real time? I mean, once you give them permission to do that for criminal investigations, next they'll be doing "mind taps" instead of wire taps for issues of national security. Then who knows where we'll be?

I think that a brain scan would be similar to procuring a blood or semen sample or a DNA test. But that's me.
