This is fucking amazing. My left eye was zapped at ~9.30-9.45.
I can basically perfectly from it already.

They didn't give me any benzos though.

I shouldn't be here though, so its back to bed and my music until tomorrow morning.

nice, does it hurt when they take the slice from your cornea? can you even feel it?

no, not at all
you feel some slight pressure, thats it. feels a little bit odd.
The only discomfort is when they place in the eyelid spreader tool, and even that is mild. oh, and the temperature of the drops. they felt freezing.

its hard keeping your eye on the blinking led though and once they lift the corneal flap and start soaking you in drops it all goes pear shaped and you cant see shit.

My eye felt a little bit odd after the anesthetic drops wore out, but thats all gone now.

awesome, let me know if you notice any of the side effect some people get (starbursts, halos, extra glare, etc), I read some anti-lasik sites that got me a little put off having it done but hearing another account of how great it is has me wishing my appointment was sooner so i could get a surgery date set

i already suffered from the corona/halo effect before the surgery. it didnt faze me in the least
