New car smell

You know how we bought a new car recently? You know how new cars have a distinctive new car smell? You know what'll fix that for you? Leaving a pound of mozzarella under the seat for a week until the packet explodes, projecting cheese water over everything nearby. Sorted.

Yes, but what did that do for the taste of the cheese?

A bag of asparagus was left in our van this summer for a week or two, I don't think the effects were quite as dramatic but the unpleasant odor was very prominent by the time we'd found it.
