I'm done with school. Not in the literal sense, of course, but in the sense that I'm tired of looking for parking and tired of boring classes where I don't do anything of importance or interest. I skipped Adaptation today for the second time this semester (that's out of five total classes for those keeping track) because I couldn't find parking. ( Read more... )

damn, John, that sucks. I wonder if you tell someone with some clout that you're having to skip classes just b/c of the parking situation, then they would do something about it. I dunno...

After Edison I haven't gone back to school yet for my bachelors. With the craziness of my job I think i'll have to take online courses, and not a full semester's worth either... but I don't plan on going back to a classroom ever again, that's for sure.

The funny thing is, this last semester, a new parking garage opened at the front of campus, which was the stupidest location because there aren't any classes over that way.

The education classes are that way! Its great for me...but i totally understand how it sucks for you :( I ride the shuttle since it takes so long to find parking.

I have a 10:30 class as well. I gave up on trying to get there at 10 after my first day (I was thirty minutes late to class because I couldn't park). Now I get there at 9:30, only a half an hour before hand, and there is plenty of parking on the roof of the parking garage. Maybe you could try that. I'm talking about Tues and Thurs, though, but I doubt it matters.

Even though it sucks to have an hour to kill before class, it's better than driving around baking in your car waiting for some sucker to find his car.

i remember when jackie and i couldn't get you to skip class to save your life. i swear college makes no sense sometimes- having to spend money on classes that are pointless.

I love skipping class. I would do it almost every class if I could. Unfortunately FGCU tends to have a unanimous policy of attendance.

Parking was getting horrible for us too. They just finished a new garage that seems to be helping some though. I never see many cars filling the garage though. Just everywhere else.

Ah John...It has been a long long time since we have seen one another. There must be some weekend coming up where, Kendra, Mike and I could take a roadtrip up there.

I hate the attendance policy of my classes. Every class I've ever had at UCF has been two absences or more equals a drop in letter grade. It's ridiculous.
