Being a pseudo-diet has made me much more aware of marketing campaigns and pricing that aim toward unhealthy food. But anyway, exercise is a pain. I was losing weight without it by just changing up what I eat. I'm using the exercise now though as a means to help tone my body. I'm already noticing it in my legs. I don't want to become a gym rat and get all steroid-gross-looking though. I also don't get a lot of physical activity at work so going to the gym makes me feel better. I think that's what it boils down to. If going to the gym makes you feel better about yourself I'm all for it. But if you're just dragging yourself there because you think you have to, then it's not worth it.
I still totally disagree with the article though. I think exercise can lead to weight loss but I think eating healthy is the key. I think if you're going to the gym and then eating McDonalds afterward it's not the exercise's fault.
