My dad collapsed and was rushed to the hospital with what they doctors are saying was a mild heart attack. They're keeping him overnight for observations.

My dad is a tank. For his own body to rebel against him like this is something I am having a hard time accepting. How is he supposed to live forever if stuff like this starts happening?

That's pretty much what happened, from what I can gather. Bad tickers run in the family and the doc said it was just dad's time to have his little episode, but since he's in pretty good shape, we shouldn't be too worried about any further occurances.
