Recipe Format

Jul 17, 2008 10:44

Okay, so here's the first run of the recipe format. Eventually I may want to add pictures, but for now, I think this will work. I made a PDF form, so anyone interested in helping out can create their recipe and send it to me. The template is here for now, until I set up something better.

If I were you I'd make a separate cost column for each ingredient. That way when people go to make it they know if the recipe was calculated with bulk chicken breasts or full price ones (2$a pound versus 6$ a pound).

Good thought! This is why it's a first run. I need the geniuses of my acquaintance to look it over and tell me what to add!

Haha, genious maybe not, but I do have experince with seeing a 10$ recipe and I try to duplicate it and end up with 25$ and wonder where the difference is.

Riiiiiiiight. Genius. All I've done before with PDF files is read 'em. ;) So, I'm presuming we fill form, save a copy, clear it, wash, rinse, repeat?

And do you want things simply sent to your LJ email, or the Yahoo?

Details, details... ;)
