when did it become "hip" to have worn-in jeans?

i didn't get that memo...but all the jeans in the stores are faded and worn...these new levi's i got even have a tag that describe the process the pants went through to get the faded, worn-in look and feel. someone explain ( Read more... )

I don't like the stupid worn in jeans thing.... Why should I pay $50 for a pair of jeans that look like I've been wearing them every day for a year to make them that way?!

I would much rather get new jeans that LOOK like new jeans and wear them out myself. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, I saw "Catch Me if You Can" today, too. Freaky. I agree, but I think I'm definitely not the sort of person who should be allowed to see a movie like that, seeing as I'm full of shit already and it only inspired me more. Whatever. Hopefully I'll see ya soon!
