i have not gotten my tile back yet....hopefully soon.
and i'll pass on voting to keep the indians. i thought that it was set in stone that they were going to change all the offensive depictions in the state...or district. i'm not totally against it being changed either...if that's what people want. i don't know what else to say.
ACTUALLY, you couldn't be more wrong. In a vote from the denizens of the school district, there were over 85% of votes against changing the Indian... And I don't know if you were paying attention or not, but the Snoqualmie tribe has been begging the schoolboard to keep the Indian. It isn't what people want at all. Just the schoolboard. IN FACT, if you want proof, go look at this web poll for the Indiands and see how many people are against changing it!http://itsourdistrict.org/survey.htm
I understand if you still don't want to vote, but I think it's really sad that the schoolboard won't consider what the majority wants.
i didn't know all those stats, i haven't really been keeping up with it. i think that it should be what the people of the district want, but, like votes in the past, they can always go against it.
