Prom is always so...awkward. Well, my first one was. Actually, the first one kinda sucked. Luckily I got to do it over, in a way. I just went the next year with a that-year junior. And had a blast.
...You know, I think we should be able to re-o everything in life, because then everyone'll know what to expect and be able to do it right. There's no such thing as 'doing it right the first time.' :P
Oh oh! (I'm on a role here) If you arent easily happy, do you think maybe youre setting your expectations too high? Not like in a negative way, but take a minute to appreciate the little things that you might be overlooking that can make you happy. Like..the nice old couple that don't give you a hard time with their lunch order (I love working), or the person who says excuse me (nicely) when you run into em when it was technically your fault? Or the nice rain that isn't cold anymore because its so hot out. Or the quenching of a nice cool drink on a summer day.
Okay, so maybe my examples werent that good but you know what I'm talking about Milly? Life isn't a movie, tv show, or a magazine. We gotta find the good things ourselves, because if we don't, who will? :D
