Kijani's 25th birthday bash - Fursuit Bowling!

In celebration of hitting the quarter-century mark... I had a small get-together last Thursday with some friends at one of my favorite fursuit-friendly haunts, Tech City Bowl in Kirkland, WA. Had to postpone this a week since I had the flu on my ACTUAL birthday (Feb. 24) but it was way worth the wait! 14 locals showed up for a fun bowling time.

You know, unless there was serious heavy editing, I think I finally may have found someone who can give SK a run for his money :)

I've seen you bowl in suit, and all I can say is that it will be a very close match. I'd say my average in suit is about 125, with a high game of 155. Then again, I'm a bit handicapped since my fursuit paw is huge and the only way I can bowl effectively is to jam my ring finger into the biggest thumbhole I can find and then palm the ball from there, not much control that way :p

That's why I designed SK like many of the current NBA mascots, so he'd have the dexterity to do everything I like to do - bowling, cards, pool, pinball, tai chi, etc.

Shame we're on completely opposite ends of this North American dirt clod.

We should totally arrange a fursuit bowling outing if we're ever at the same con :) We will meet someday and bowl for Big Cat Supremacy!
