What a difference a summer makes
Over the summer, I decided to improve my arsenal if I could afford it. What wound up happening was the bowling equivalent of an extreme makeover...

Yes, the Battle Zone is still a Brunswick, but it's a year 2000 release before they moved their production to Mexico. So even though it has the old PowerKoil 17 cover stock, it still hits harder and carries better than what I'm used to seeing from that company. My first full game with it was a 237, and I saw so much action compared to my Rattler and Ultra Zone, that I thought the house installed WAHSAM in the gutters.
Once season starts, I fully expect to carry a 200 average in at least one league. :)
