F***ing asshat trolls, trying to post stupid rambling rants on my science blog. And then insulting me when I politely direct them to the research they're demanding. I take great satisfaction in the wonderful invention of "moderate comments", which means that their spew will never see the light of day ( Read more... )

Well, some people just have nothing better to do than try to prove how "smart" they are, especially when they don't think anyone will call them out. That's why I occasionally read the comments on videos at break.com; they're usually good for a laugh at someone else's expense, but too much just gets me annoyed.

Don't worry about the trolls. Everyone's a "genius" online, as well as brave, but you can take pride in the fact that they're probably posting from their parents' basement at age 38 before their shift at Burger King.

Thanks for the support. I was getting really pissed off before I realized that getting me pissed off was exactly what the troll wanted. So I blocked him. Serves the little twerp right, although he'll probably show up with some other username to try and post more obnoxious comments. Fortunately, theres this wonderful little "delete" button on the comments now...

I bet he's not even good enough to have a Burger King job. He'd probably tell the customers that they're "insignificant little twits" because they don't want pickles on their hamburgers.
