Today i went to the number the dead protest on 5th ave and the Save Darfur Now! Rally in central park. both were beautiful and awesome experiences in their own ways. today there was a tornado (during a thunder storm!) about 2.8 miles from my grandma's house. my mom was at the hardware store, about 1.5 miles away from the tornado. haha. it was a pretty cool storm. no one was hurt. some trees fell down. i thought it was neat...but then, a tree didn't fall on my porch ( Read more... )

hey everyone. meagan here. reporting from grandmom's house in massapequa, ny. nothing exciting has happened to me yet. i've bought a lot of stuff. that's all i've done, really. can't wait to move into my dorm on sunday. i'm still finishing my summer reading (Aristotle's Poetics). nothing else is new.
