Is it that bad? Woah... well speaking from someone who used to be in california.

I miss it greatly, however I dont think I'll ever go back. Being in texas isnt all that, but it does have its ups and and I love it. I dont think I'll end up leaving here.

Is it cost of living or something else?

I'm from southern Mississippi. Most people don't understand how beautiful gulf coastal MS is, it truly is the northern coast of the Caribbean. I have had a hard time connecting with anyone here in California, and I don't particularly agree with the way people live there lives here. That and I hate freeways.

coming from northern california, i believe i'm qualified to say that southern california is fucked up. give northern california/the bay area a try, at least, before you decide to ship back out to mississippi.

I love So Cal and I'm tired of all you out of state people bashing my awesome state. Give it another try Ronnie and besides UCLA is your school and for all the rest of you CA haters, you can always go back to where you came from. That's help out with all the freeway traffic.
