so uh...yeah..me and dan and uh tom, we were driving on the express way when suddenly we began to slow down...we ran out of gas..then no one would answer their phones (no one that could drive) and so about a half an hour of sitting in his car later, by some kind of mirical, his car started and worked until we got to the gas station.

Very, very lucky. A car I was in did that too, but we just called a tow truck since, you know, the freeway can be dangerous.

I believe theres this thing on most cars that informs you when you are low on gas.
