So it hasn't rained much at all this year. And then out out nowhere, we get this. With the extreme heat and humidity, it is usually called a pop-up storm. Usually happens only in the mountain regions. The extreme falling rains cause side burst winds called down drafts. It was enough to blow over some trees and crush a few cars in our area,

We're in need of rain too, but I know storms like this can be scary! Hope the little guy holed up somewhere safe--and I'm glad things weren't any worse!
