It's been over 110 days since I bought a pack. Why is it, then, I ask you, that I still want a cigarette every damn day?

According to my father, you will want a cigarette every damn day for the rest of your life.

Now there's a cheery thought, huh?

Huh. Well, that'll give me some nice stability in my life, won't it. (It's all this dizzying change that's the curse of Modern Life, I say.)

Wishing you well on that. I've an aunt who still craves cigarettes, though not every day, but she's been quit for decades. I haven't craved in months though, and I quit in October. But I may be weird that way.

Ooh, hey. How much are you around/exposed to smoke even if you're not smoking yourself? That can be a factor.
