Hello lovely artists! Since we're about mid-way through your section of the challenge, I thought we should have a check-in, like the writers had

1) What would you say is the mood of your piece? Lighthearted, but underlying seriousness? 2) How happy are you with what you're doing so far? Pretty happy! I'm going to have to go back and re-paint a few things so that they scan cleaner. 3) Describe the art you're creating in three words. Story book, bright um... literal? 4) How close are you to being finished? 5/8 of the way through. Maybe a bit more. 5) Give us a few sentences about what kind of art you're creating/what tools you're working with. I'm making a series of 8 small illustrations. 3 of these are portraits, the rest are scenes from the story. I'm working in acrylic on cold press illustration board.
4) How close are you to being finished? Not very! But I've eliminated the stuff I know won't work, which is kind of the first step with me
5) Give us a few sentences about what kind of art you're creating/what tools you're working with. My usual collage-type stuff, so it's a blend of screencaps, textures, and various other bits of random stock. I am purely digital, so I am immersed in CS4 and my drawing tablet.
1) What would you say is the mood of your piece? Richly Ornamented Depiction of Very Heroic Exploits. Yis.
4) How close are you to being finished? Let's see, there's 10 days left? That's how many hours? If we account for 2 hours of sleep on average and that pesky job thing I have to go to... Er. I should make it? (for serious though, I will make it!)
5) Give us a few sentences about what kind of art you're creating/what tools you're working with. Drawing with pentablet in Photoshop, playing around with the linework in Illustrator then back to Photoshop for some nifty colouring trick I shall not reveal here... ;)
