So I definitely have more than 500 words (I think it's closer to 2K or 3K) but my laptop is currently on the operating table at some repair shop in like, Vermont or something, and probably won't be back for a couple weeks. I have the file saved to my external HD, but it's a docx file that my borrowed computer won't recognize. Considering I'll miss the first check in and probably won't have 5K words by the second check in (since I'm missing out on some writing time) what should I do?
