Takes place just after "Le Morte d'Arthur". The Three Fates bring Nimueh back to fulfill a destiny they set out for her, only she chooses her own path for revenge against Merlin. Things don't quite go the way she wants though, when Arthur makes his own choice, as well.

Summary: It's the year 2007. Magic has been lost from the world since King Arthur was left sleeping on Avalon, but when a bored Nimueh decides to make a BBC series about the *true* Arthurian legends, it starts to return--with disastrous results. Can Merlin be persuaded to wake the sleeping King?
Pairings: Merlin/Anthony Stewart Head, Bradley/ Colin, and Merlin/Arthur.
Word count: 10,081 (and they haven't even started filming yet--this is going to go way past 35K!!!)
Feeling: Naughty about writing Merlin/ASH, anxious about pulling off the many action scenes, and absolutely giddy whenever I think about Colin learning magic for this role.
Looking forward to: Merlin seeing Bradley for the first time. ANGST AND WOE!

(Note to Mods: I'm leaving tomorrow for a month-long trip so it's likely I'll miss the next check in. But since I'll be visiting Camelot Pierrefonds on my travels, I'm chalking it up to research!)

I'm just excited to have finally worked out the plot for mine! I'm going for good old fashioned h/c adventure. Arthur is captured in battle, sold into slavery and forced to fight in a gladiator tournament against various unnatural things. Merlin must rescue him. Merlin/Arthur, as you might expect from such a set-up.

My word count so far is paltry, but I have family visiting and am trying to finish another story, so I expect to catch up shortly.

I am feeling terrified, excited, and all of those other things, too. *g*

OMG! Sorry to be butting in but I have just recently discovered Merlin and have spent the last week or so devouring stories and I decided to visit this site to see what would be in store for the future (and also to torture myself because they won't be out until july! eek!)

But this sounds FANTASTIC! I am more excited about this then should be humanly possible. I adore Arthur h/c and this sounds amazing!

If you need a cheerleader let me know cause I'll do anything to see this story come to fruition!
