Oh my god. My weekend has officially ended.

This is the first time I have sat in my room alone contemplating what to do with the rest of the day until work.

Your situation is a bit different.
1, You don't even talk to your brother let alone exist in the same room with him - ever, and
2, You didn't just get back from an 11 hour road trip with your family less than a month ago [which also happened to be yet another wedding and yet another group of people Meaghan and I barely know].
