[It's likely the eighth in a series, and if it is, then there could be seven more of these, out there... whether they've survived or not. But seven satellites falling to earth (he'll run with that) has to leave some trace, eventually. Here's one--he wonders where the other craters might be.
The thought shouldn't fuel his excitement even more (if that's possible), but it does.]
It sounds like this article's going to be real damn useful to have a look at. You got any ideas where to start? Did this Jak guy have any friends?
[The name sounds vaguely familiar, at least, but if the frequency's gone, there won't be any further clues. Maybe browsing through the network would yield something--if they hit a dead end, that'll be the way to go.]
