Spring lingers in the air now, winter fading into the white of memory. I saw the first signs of life springing up from cracks in the sidewalk, and perhaps it is because I've grown so used to it that the city doesn't seem so grim ( Read more... )

How people can die and exist here as if they hadn't. It's a strange concept at home; usually humans die and stay dead.

But while the reunion is nice, once they leave.. it goes back to how it was, eh?
