Yesterday I wrote my english exam. However, the professor only wanted to allow us 2hours to write it, which is not a decision he is allowed to make. The university allows every student 3hours to write any exam, regardless of how long the professor thinks it should take

Unfortunately, I think the university will side with the prof. They don't want to alienate their union. Unless you get a lawyer, you can't win here. The university knows you won't get a lawyer, how many students can afford one?

Yeah, definitely true. This is a post I actually made last year, and the english chair did take the word of my prof. However, at least my complaint was registered.
