So, it looks like I won't be going to UC Irvine. Sorry, Eri. :/ I've sort of decided that I want to do graphic design, however most of the UCs don't offer such classes. (On the other hand, most of the schools that do offer said classes art art schools and CSU's

It's got such a nice campus. It's where I'm hoping to transfer once I get my ass in gear. :V

I was actually interested in UCSC until I heard that they were all druggies. :( I'm realllyyy interested in the campus though. >< But yeah, I'm afraid of the rumors surrounding UCSC. XDD

UCD seems like a really nice school. xD I don't think I mind going there. O:
Though I really wanted to go to Irvine. @_@

And, zomg. O: San Jose. I've actually never been to San Jose. ......weird. ;[ I'm missing out.

Uhh, once. I was out in some kind of vaguely rural area. At a not-very-legit rave. It was hellza shady. :x But, San Jose isn't that great. You're not missing out on a lot. If I want to go to a city, I usually go to SF.

It is true that there are druggies at UCSC. Mostly weed. All of my friends who go there (and my brother) happen to all be in Porter, which is most famous for it. But it's not a bad thing for them. Like my brother is just NOT into any substances at all, and while freshman year he didn't notice any drugs at all, his roommates were dealers sophomore year. But they were nice about it. They knew he didn't like it, so they never dealed/smoked in the room. And my friends (who're all freshmen) are handling it okay. One of them was really scared that everyone else would smoke, and they would all hate her for not doing it, but that's not the case. The thing about weed is that it usually chills people out, so there's not much pressure to smoke it, and people are usually pretty respectful about staying clean. And then another one

It's all gooood~ I'm just glad that you're staying in California where I can keep an eye on you and planning to go somewhere relatively close to me. :P

I'm glad that you know what you want to do though. I'm sure it's tentative as heck and that there will be many times when you will be bewildered about why the heck you decided to do graphic design but it's something. (Something that I don't have. :[)

Your art teacher offers great advice. Art schools and the people that attend there are like omg wth crazy (Artistically) and there will always be people that are better than you and going to an art school will definitely increase the chance of having a class with people like that. XDD

The only thing that I'm certain about right now is that at one point or another in my life, I want to teach at a college. I don't want to teach for a complete living/career but I would at least like to for a couple years.

I think you'd be awesome with graphic design. Any creative medium, I mean, you're bound to have your ups and downs, you know?
