The best thing about having a ridiculous haircut, like my new fullblown curly mullet, is that it's impossible to take yourself seriously. I keep catching reflected glimpses and cracking up.
my favorite side effect is that people really don't feel very intimidated about talking to you if you have funny hair. strangers will more often strike up conversations in public places, kids will laugh (in a friendly way), etc.
of course the downside is that people may not take you as seriously either. but screw 'em ;)
I can see that with your hair. The mullet, though, has an air of 'tough' which I think is somewhat intimidating, which is even sillier when applied to me.
