No doubt about it, you've seem to lead this boy on. It's unfair to both your current boyfriend ( who loves you whether you find him boring or not ) and this boy ( who thought y'all were going somewhere when you personally know you aren't. )

The best thing to do, is flat out tell him you are not interested. Explain that you have a boyfriend, and tell him you are sorry for leading him on the way you have. There's no way to dance around it if you want him to understand.

You're not going to hurt a guy if all he really does want is "a piece of ass."

After four years, it sounds understandable that things are usual. If you think it's boring, talk to him about it. Tell him how you feel, because he can't fix something he doesn't know about. Figure out what you want to see more of in your relationship and make a game plan with your boyfriend.

A relationship is between two people, and it won't work out if one doesn't know that something is wrong or missing in it.
