Wow! This is scary. I agree with the above comment, it should be required to re-enter your password and confirm like 3 times that you know exactly what is happening. Meanwhile, thank you for sharing because I am going to immediately research how to back up my entire email library. I've had the same email address since 93, I think. This would be like throwing my lifelong diary on the fire on accident.

I'm just reading this now, but I had to say I am so sorry. That is a super messed up feature. You would think that you would have to confirm more than once or put in a password or something. It should NOT be that easy to have everything just disappear.
