It took bush over 3 months to really start fucking things up. give the Dems a chance. They have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to policy fuck ups to fix. Mis-management is easy. Repairing the damage is causes is not.

Where are you getting you numbers.
There are over 45+ million working families that don't have it. Never mind the poor fucks that are unemployed.

1) I guess the only good thing to come out of it is that the issue of global warming is receiving more attention. However, if they refuse to acknowledge the science behind it, then they're only asking for trouble. And I agree: nothing sucks more than people with the attitude: fuck the earth, it'll be here longer than us anyway.

2) I was harsh on some of those celebrities; i know it's ridiculous to expect celebrities to pay for something the government's responsible for. I live in L.A. and I see rich people all the time, driving Rolls Royces and I can't help but think, "Gee, that car could feed a starving family for a year!"

3) As far as importing children from foreign countries: I don't know if I agree with that wholeheartedly, because I think it's important the child know its roots and where he was born. To take a child out of that environment and then suddenly stick him in front of paparazzi, complete with bodyguard, a limo, and a Beverly Hills mansion just seems overwhelming to me. Who knows? Only time will tell, I guess.

If nothing else, the fact that the Democrats have control of the House means that the Republicans won't be trying to pass any more legal travesties.
