The school clinic just refused my admittance, since I had already been "referred out" to a neurologist regarding the great month-long-headache. Couple more weeks left of the semester.. and my mind is already crouched in the corner, packed to go. Ho-hum.

A few years ago I learned that I get migraines, but in a very strange manner. They're called idiopathic migraines and basically a weird vibrating pattern appears out of nowhere in my field of vision (and although they are migraines my head doesn't hurt, it just gets a little numb in some spots). You can see what they patterns look like here: http://www.knownjohnson.com/?p=73 The first time this happened I was just finishing up on an exam in class and I had no idea what was going on, so in a calm and panicked fashion (ha) I walked over to the clinic thinking my brains were about to start leaking out my ears. By the time I saw the doc the visual disturbance stopped, so had the numbness, he mumbled a diagnosis and I was on my way.
So, stress? Probably. Are you eating enough?

I'm turning 27 soon but I feel like I'm in my 40s, damn generic back problems and fair skin keeping me cloistered from the sun. At least you're being proactive about your health. I passed out from a hot shower when I was younger, so you're probably right about the cause.
