Change with the scenery

Geoff Boycott has just complained that the Sri Lankan bowling attack "wouldn't frighten me mum". Ladies and gentlemen, summer has arrived.

Edited for further classic commentary:

Blowers: "This Cook plays like he doesn't want to get out. Almost Boycottian."
Boycott: "And that's a good thing..."

If cricket is started now, doesn't that mean it will keep happening until Monday, and you and Pete will miss most of it due to ATPing?

It will keep on 'til Monday, but radios are remarkably portable devices, is it not?

"wouldn't frighten me mum"

To be fair, after Birthing Boycott, there's probably not much to fear in the world...

Aye. Though according to that nice Mr Selvey this is the earliest ever start to a home test series. Maybe it's just the glorious weather that's making it seem normal.
