REGARDING TAGS...

hey guys, as many of you know there is a limit to how many tags a journal can have. this of course poses a problem for boys_paper since there are so many boys to scan. therefore PLEASE keep this in mind when making tags.

o1. the biggest thing i see is redundancy and overlap. for example, if i made a post of tackey and tsubasa; there is NO NEED for a takki

Oh I'm sorry Chung. I never add tags, but when I started posting scans I already seen the tags for the members of Arashi so I thought I should use it :-s I'm sorry I will fix them ~

dude no worries CK i think i fixed most of yours already :) i'm just telling the community to keep in mind from now on. it's not just you there's lots of older entries like that i don't expect everyone to go back and fix everything. it's just a reminder for the future posts ":P

It's hard to look for the older scans with the current tag system. Is it possible to tag per magazine? For example, "myojo", "popolo" etc...Better still if there is a tag per year-> For example,

KAT-TUN, myojo, 2003

i've thought about that but a lot of people scan a whole magazine or even multiple magazines. i would like to think of a way to keep things neater. thanks for the suggestion i'll definitely keep that in mind. :D

we also have a memories section you can check out all the magazines by date so it frees up the tags for just names. :) it's a little out of date for the 2008 year, because i'm the only active mod at the moment. but if you're looking for old scans it's a great place to check out everything is by magazine and by year.

i freaking love this comm ;-; and it makes me sad about the work you havta do to organize it D:

i don't know if it's even possible, but i am a very OCD person and LOVE to organize things (it's like...a relaxing thing for me to do LOL) so if you'd like/it's even possible i'd be happy to help you tag things :D

as for the disorganization, i'd be happy to help you go through old entries(even from the beginning?) and create a separate livejournal for linking by magazine and year (so even with multiple mags in a post it'd still be organizable :D )

the jdramas comm have a system like this (sorta) for their movies :D because they were overrun with tags bc of individual tags for each movie x_o
