You won't believe what becomes of our shredded materials. It becomes compost, and placed in the bottom of flower pots to help with drainage.

Interesting. I can see how it might help as compost (it's mostly from trees, after all), but how does it help with drainage?

I have the same phenomena with my shredder. I find that forcibly pushing the stuff in and compacting it reduces the volume.

Also, have you tried fire? I've heard that it cleans junk away pretty well. =p

ohh i wish i had a paper shredder, stuff for my plants, kitty litter all kinds of good stuff.
