For anyone who was interested in watching the "Flashpoint" filming, I was incorrect in my previous post - they're filming tonight, not tomorrow. I must have been remembering the bit about when they're going to be removing their equipment and letting people park on my street again.

I spent this weekend at Ad Astra, and as always, I had a fantastic time. I spent most of my time there schmoozing (Ad Astra is good for that), and so didn't see very many panels other than the ones I was on, but I did make it to a couple. I'd been meaning to post this... the Aurora ballot was released earlier this week. As the Aurora ceremony comes within my purview for Anticipation, I shall present this without comment. I wouldn't want to influence the voting (not that I think I can, really.)

I managed to sleep until 2:15 today. So I had the EKG this morning... I got to lie on my side while the technician ran a very cold probe covered in blue goo all over my chest. Then she took a piece of what felt like sandpaper, rubbed it on a half-dozen or so areas of my chest and stomach, and stuck sensors to me. I made it to bowling tonight, and managed my best night in the last six weeks, though it wasn't spectacular: 154, 170, 172.
