Personally, I think you're a symbol regardless of what publicity stunts you're pulling, and so I say sod the press. Really, they get enough of you from the information the deign true by watching you, and you surely have your own plans that day, don't you?

I suppose you're right; they make their own "news" by simply observing me and just making things up. No matter what I do or say, I'll still be famous Harry bloody Potter, mostly for something I can't even sodding control... but so few people seem to understand that, or even want to, that it's begun to become useless to even try to explain.
I'll probably be up at Hogwarts that day, at least for part of the day. I'm waiting to hear from the Minister and also from Professor McGonagall.

Thank-you for the offer. I'll be spending most of my weekend cleaning up. I've actually got a Muggle contractor coming by this evening to repair the door and windows. If you feel the need to help you can stop buy any time Saturday. I think I'm going to spend tomorrow sorting through things on my own.

The question you have to answer is what do you feel is right? How can you use the status they wish to force upon you to be an example to others? Right or not, you have a powerful position as a result. Your actions and words, while falling on deaf ears in the Ministry, will reach hundreds of witches and wizards who will pay attention because it's Harry Potter who says it.

But you're right; I will be helping up at Hogwarts during the celebration. I'm using this "status" to raise money for the orphaned children to be able to attend school. Professor McGonagall asked me to do it, saying they'd been having a very difficult time finding the funds for these children and especially foster homes for them, and I agreed almost instantly. I'm just waiting to hear from Katie and Oliver.
