I'm guessing that McCain's advisers told him to make sure to drive home certain points.
That would explain the large number of dead horses that were beaten tonight.
Hrm.
Both told fibs.
Both told fibs that we'd already heard before and that had been discredited.
Hrm.
Overall, I guess this was better than the rest of the, ahem, "debates."
