I enjoy your babbling.

Atheism really isn't an impediment to teaching, even in the urban south, but getting a credential is a bitch (regardless of what degrees you've got racked up). I'd be applying for high school bio/social science jobs if I could get one, but I either would have to spend a couple of years earning a credential first or would have to enroll in a teaching fellowship and take master's education classes, which would be impossible to juggle along with my current grad program.

Hopefully my current grad program won't be current for much longer...making speedy progress.

Ah yes, teaching credentials. That would require further investment.

And what about that whole teacher's union thing? Do they have that in the urban south. I hate teacher's unions.

I like onions, though.

Yay for progress!

but i know politikin' might make more progress, sadly.

Good points. Hopefully a decision won't be required either way in the next few years.

Vending machine? I'll see what I can do. What town are you living in now?

Politician... schools can't afford to hire new teachers right now.

But if you are going to do it here you are going to have to work on your southern accent.

Oooh, I like that.
Doesn't pay particularly well, but then again, neither does teaching.

I still need to catch up with you to talk about (among other things) Berlin. I'm pretty booked up at the moment, but how does Thursday night next week look for you?
