I miss home.

I'm worried about the state of affairs in Teyr, about whether or not I'm even going to have a nation to go back to. There's still so many issues that need to be worked out, so many groups of powerful people that would like to see our whole race wiped off the face of Krynn ( Read more... )

We all miss our homes. But if we'd never come here, we'd have never met some of the friends we've made. Even if this place causes a lotta trouble for us, it's worth it to have friends that help you get through everything.

I know it's nice to have someone around that you know, but since they're still back at your world, why don't you get to know some people here? That'll make life here easier, both for you and whoever it is you talk to!

Hey, a lot of us are homesick to an extent. Nothing to feel bad over.

Oh, I wanted to mention this to you. The Library Hotel is... It's in fair condition, although it took quite a beating since the last attack, as it suffered even worse than the cathedral itself.

That said, I'm sure it wouldn't be much of a bother having you around, if you're looking for a place to stay. We've had a few... vacancies, recently, so it's not like we don't have the space. The cathedral's pretty big, after all.

It's the least we could do in return for your help.

Thank you very much for the offer, I do appreciate it, but I think the Hotel would be a better option for me. I will keep it in mind, though.

I really don't mind helping at all with the repairs. I have a feeling I'll be doing a lot of that throughout the city.

Well, it was worth trying.

You're right, though. It means a lot, knowing that there's someone out there who can help. I've been doing what I can to make sure the cathedral's in one piece, and that's been hard enough.

Heh. Sounds like a familiar issue, from here. Can be a real pang to the heart, bein' away from the ones you care about. But you keep sure that your friends're doing well; I can't say I know them, but I bet you they're more'n capable.
