Almost every draconian present was silent, waiting for orders, after the strange metallic object spoke. Every draconian except for Kang, however. He couldn't help the grin that crossed his face, and he stepped forward, speaking in Common.

"We can understand you, General. Are you from Stargate Command, by chance?"

He knew he'd have to answer a lot of questions in Teyr after this.

Landry and Walter exchanged shocked looks. 'Unexpected' didn't even BEGIN to cover this turn of events! But the general was used to recovering from surprises, and he quickly recomposed himself.

"It seems we are at a disadvantage," he replied casually. "You know us, but we don't know you. How is that, if I may ask?"

"I know of you through a man named Daniel Jackson," Kang said, just as casually. Raising a hand, he turned to look at the other draconians, "Lower your weapons. There's no threat here."

Slowly, they did so, completely confused by the situation but trusting their governor. His attention back on the robot, he asked, "Would he happen to be there?"
