Dear Bronté,

I'm not quite sure what to think at this point. Mum's really upset, more at me than anything (for something I did not do and would rather not go into at this point).

The fact that the stupid fucking Ministry keeps taking our stuff at random only just adds to it.
You'd think the Ministry could keep track of its past spies, right? Then they'd know that my father doesn't have a debt to pay, but a debt to recieve payment on.

She gets so upset at the money thing, and I try to tell her it's really not a big deal but I know it is. I just can't believe they took the rocker.

I also trust you'll keep this secret? Not that I have doubts, but Father's really strict about who knows what on the Malfoy monetary front.

Dear Brontë,

I don't think my mother wants a new rocker. It's the fact that that was the rocker that all of my uncles had been rocked in, and her, and me.. the Ministry had no right to it. It's not even valuable.

The Ministry isn't exactly "after" Father as it is after Father's estate.. if you could even call what we have left an estate.

It's all a legal issue; his trust fund technically wasn't his, and he used that to set up with my Mum and in my grandfather's will it was asked that that money be given to one of his colleagues, so they're taking everything to try to get the money back.

It's a bunch of rubbish.. it's not like my Father ever did anything wrong, unlike my grandfather who murdered, raped, pillaged, mutilated, kidnapped, bribed, extorted, stole obviously did.

And he was on "your" side- so to speak, which just adds to the idiocy of the situation
