Why George Lucas Ruined Star Wars

I think I have finally figured out why George Lucas seems determined to ruin the Star Wars franchise. He went to a convention and saw all the people wearing the costumes and worshiping at his altar. That was when he decided he had to save us from ourselves by destroying that which had our souls bound in adulation

I know lots of people don't, but I totally agree with Kevin Smith at the end ... I'm not gonna make the argument that the prequels or whatever the fuck they're called were better, but people don't start evil when they're young ... it seems to me, it would be something you grow into.

I think you are right, maybe this is the reason why I've still not watched the 2nd and 3rd movies yet. ;)
