The parents have come and gone... They're still in town, we're hanging out during the day tomorrow, but they're staying in Marietta to be near my uncle who is in the hospital, and they didn't want to face Friday afternoon traffic.

So what was that mysterious paperwork they needed my driver's license number for?
My parents are crazy. )

Bunny? Bunni? Bunnie? I say this because you say your parents are as Mad as Hatters. I think of Alice in Wonderland and she meets the mad hatter because of the rabbit.

and if your current car is Bambi - then you can't leave out Thumper references.

When the possibility existed that I'd be buying a Mercedes, I was going to call it Thumper. I like that name for a car. Just my two cents. Of course, as yet my car remains nameless, though "Romy" is gaining purchase.

That'd be a good name for yours...

Bunny? Bunni? Bunnie?

Funny thing is that in all of the piles of car literature, there were a set of quasi flash cards about road hazards and the features the car has to deal with them. The first card was called "The Bunny."

Bah. Thumper was a dork. It was all about Flower.

Yay. Now I don't have to be afraid of your car. ^_^

It's only fair. You'd have been afraid of my car if I'd ever let people ride in it.

Oh, you still have to be afraid of it...

But not as afraid of it as one had to be of Mr. Chrisotopher's car.

I was riding with him once when he handed me the gear shift, saying "hold this." He then reached inside the gear box and changed gears by hand.

I was not with him the time all the wheels of the car came off.

How exciting! A new car! And I'm sure the windows AND the AC work in it...at least one would hope. . .

Your parents' timing is impeccable! Last night, for the first time in my life, I spent >$30 on a tank of gas. If only Cecile drank diesel!

It won't be too long before I'm spending that much for diesel... Still... >$30... that just seems so wrong.
